Mandate and Functions of the City General Services Office
The City General Services Office supports the Local Government Unit of Iligan City by providing administrative, logistical, property, supply, and records-related services needed for efficient government operations and responsive public service.
Mandate
To take charge of general services, property management, supply coordination, records support, and other logistical requirements necessary for the delivery of local government programs, projects, and public services.
Coordinate office support services, facilities requirements, materials, equipment, and service needs of city departments.
Assist in receiving, storing, issuing, monitoring, and documenting supplies and materials for official government use.
Maintain support records for government property, equipment accountability, inventory references, and related documentation.
Support records handling, documentation, filing, retention, and retrieval of transactions within the scope of general services.
Provide coordination for materials movement, office requirements, logistical arrangements, and emergency support needs.
Assist requesting offices, authorized users, and accredited suppliers through structured digital services and account enrollment.
